Alter Technology Indonesia, Ltd. is a parent company that develops and manages its subsidiaries. Our main office is located in Semarang, Indonesia. Most of our subsidiaries operate in the IT sector. Even if some appear to be outside the main niche, their core strength always lies in information technology. Our primary activity here is research and development, which we implement in our own subsidiaries or with our partner companies.

We established this company back in 2017. Our first office was in Tlogomulyo, Semarang. After a year there, we felt the need for a larger space, more comfortable, and serene. Given our business niche in information technology, we then moved to the southern part of Semarang, far from the hustle and bustle. However, when the Covid pandemic struck, we had to adopt remote working, leaving our office vacant. At that time, there was still no clarity on when the pandemic would end. Consequently, we transitioned all our work activities to a hybrid model for complete efficiency, a practice that continues to this day.

During the work-from-home condition, we innovated in various ways, concluding that this remote work model was far more efficient. This greatly differs from most companies since 95% of our tasks are digital material. So, even after the pandemic, working from home became our new norm.

Yet, on the other hand, we felt the need to have at least a physical representative office. Thus, we officially moved our office to Sampangan, Semarang. However, remote working continues to this day, with us only gathering in the office for major events or crucial projects.

Since our establishment in 2017, we’ve accomplished more than 6,000 technology development tasks and established hundreds of procedures. From then on, we’ve achieved many milestones. The technology implementations, shaped by the knowledge we’ve gathered, enable each of our subsidiaries to offer extraordinary benefits to their users. Of course, all these are supported by human resources with high specialization and dedication.

Indeed, our focus is on profit, as Alter Technology Indonesia, Ltd. is a commercial company. However, that’s not our primary and foremost goal. We don’t hastily launch something and then heavily advertise it without considering its reliability and service continuity. We genuinely think about the results for every client who uses products or services from our subsidiaries.

We don’t make promises lightly. But we always commit to giving our best, focusing on integrity, quality, and sustainability. Every decision we make is based on in-depth research and a deep understanding of our market and customers’ needs. For us, customer satisfaction isn’t just a slogan; it’s a reflection of our team’s dedication and hard work.
